- Teaching during beginning and end of professional life
- Elementary teacher
- Technology Training Specialist -- teaching administrators, teachers, students to use new technology in the 1990s

Community Volunteer Appleton Medical Center
Played oboe in the Fox Valley Symphony for 15 years, City Band many years
Member of Fortnightly Book Club, PEO
