PRESIDENT Barb Kelly called the meeting to order at 6:45 p.m.(and announced that the “mystery man” paid his dues). Jan introduced her guest, David Woods, President and CEO of AIA Corporation.
MINUTES were approved as written.
TREASURER’S REPORT: Balance still stands at $4,986.09.
As usual there was a discussion of how to best spend our “treasure.” A Chicago overnight to see the Contemporary Sculpture Exhibit was suggested. That would require that members add to the cost. A one-day trip to the Chicago affair was suggested. It was agreed that no matter what the plan, it should be decided well in advance so that we can put the date on our calendars.
Barb and Bill will be vacationing and will not be at the next meeting.
We adjourned at 7:00 for dinner followed by Bill Kelly’s talk, History of Rock Climbing Equipment, including numerous hands-on examples.
