BUSINESS MEETING: Was called to order by President Bill at 6:05 p.m.
MINUTES: Acceptance of the Minutes was moved, seconded, and approved.
TREASURER’S REPORT: Barb reported a balance of $2,136.04, as of September 13, 2023; a disbursement of $300.00 to Paul for IATC delegate reimbursement and no payments for a current balance of $1,836.04. Acceptance of the Treasurer’s report was moved, seconded, and approved.
VICE PRESIDENT’S REPORT: Bert reported that all upcoming meetings have speakers except April and May. Kris volunteered to do hers in April. Now only May is open.
OLD BUSINESS: Bill reminded members that dues, in the new amounts of $85.00 for a single membership and $140.00 for a couple’s membership, were approved at our last meeting. Barb asked that the dues be paid by the November 16th meeting, as she needs to send them to IATC in December. Members who have not paid their dues after the November meeting will be removed from the IATC roster. If you need to make other arrangements, i.e., mail Barb a check or deliver it to her, please let her know before then.
NEW BUSINESS: There was no new business.
Business meeting was adjourned at 6:14 p.m. and the meeting continued with dinner and presentation.
Presentation: Sue shared her presentation entitled, "Dwellings". PPT
Sue talked about the history of human dwellings and how important it is to have safe, adequate, and affordable dwellings in the 21st Century.
