ATTENDEESs: Sue Bennett via zoom, Karen Bachhuber, David Debbink, Marcia Debbink, Paul Freiberg, Walt Hedges, Lindsay Kaminsky, Barb Kelly, Bill Kelly, Dale Lewellyn, John Palmquist, Kris Stahl, Peter Thiel, Scott Valitchka, Bert Wiegand.
Guests: Sofia Wilson via zoom, Mary Wiegand via zoom, Lynnette Kopetsky
The meeting was called to order at 6:18 p.m.
Bill welcomed guests Sofia Wilson via zoom from Las Vegas, Bert's wife Mary Wiegand via
zoom and Barb and Bill's guest, Lynnette Kopetsky who has worked at the Appleton Public
Library, the UW Fox Valley Library and will be working at the UWO Library in Oshkosh.
MINUTES: There were no corrections or additions to the minutes. A motion was made by
David to accept the minutes, which was seconded by Walt. All were in favor and minutes
were approved as published.
TREASURER'S REPORT: Barb reported a balance of $2,156.28, as of 4/17/25. There was one
payment of $22.00 to Touchmark for the meal of our guest speaker at the last meeting.
There were no receipts, which leaves a balance as of 5/15/25 of $2,134.28. It was moved by
Bert and seconded by Walt to accept the Treasurer's report. All were in favor and the report
was approved.
VICE PRESIDENT'S REPORT: Upcoming presenters will be as follows: Bert tonight, Kris in
September and David in October, Paul in November, Barb in December and Scott in January.
February through May of 2026 are still open. Please contact Walt with regard to scheduling
your presentation.
OLD BUSINESS: Mary Poulson books: Barb reported that she has made contact with the
Appleton Public Library. They will be sending her a list of books soon. We will get as many
books as our $100.00 donation will buy. They will choose books that represent Mary's
interests and career. The books will have a book plate showing that they were donated by
TCFV in Mary's honor. Barb will let us know which books are chosen and when they are
available, she will bring them to the meeting.
NEW BUSINESS: Bill reminded members of the summer party that he and Barb will be
hosting on Thursday, August 21 st .
Bill thanked the outgoing officers, Bert, Sue and Barb, for
their service. He then welcomed the new officers, President Bert, Vice-President Walt,
Secretary Kris, Treasurer Barb.
